Where the traditional sun ‘sol’, symbol of the tortilla, meets the vibrant new thinking of the raging bull ‘toro’ – Soltoro! The unique brand device merges the bull’s head with radiating sunrays. Natural-look packaging on brown paper stock underscores simple, considered typography and colour stripe to denote the various ranges, including ready-to-eat meals, sauces, spices and rubs.
The visual language conveys a strong value proposition for the Soltoro range, which is truly unique to the Australian market and already proven popular in test segments for being gluten-free and made fresh in Australia using mainly local produce.
It’s still early days so the result is yet to be determined, however, the Soltoro team eagerly anticipate the official brand launch at the Sydney Fine Food Fair in September 2015. The response from grocery buyers has been positive with early support from IGA supermarkets to range the product line.
