A branding workshop for GGCSI’s 2019 climate status report concluded the need to think big and act urgently when actioning CCS technology. That the report was in fact a campaign in itself. With this in mind, we developed creative that adopted an arrow as a metaphor, a positive weapon in the fight against climate change. This served GCCSI with a campaign icon, identifiable across many communication channels. The various communication pieces adopted typefaces, colour palettes and a distinct tone of voice, geared to deliver on our campaign strategy.
In the first week of the report being launched, a total of 1,201 downloads was achieved. A 55% percent increase from the previous year’s results. Lead generation has increased also, with 37% of the audience indicating they want to hear more from GCCSI.
